This Privacy Policy explains what limited information the Giggle Twig website (the "Site") does and does not collect, and how it is handled. The Site is an information and support website; it is deliberately light on data collection.
The Site does not ask you to create an account, and it has no forms that submit personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect names, contact details, payment information, or identity documents through the Site.
The one thing stored is a small age-confirmation flag kept in your own browser (see "Local storage" below). It stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
When you confirm you are 21 or older, the Site saves a simple flag in your browser's
local storage (labelled gt_age_ok) so you are not asked again on that
device. The Site may also remember minor display preferences the same way. This information lives only
in your browser, is not shared with us or third parties, and you can clear it at any time by clearing
your browser's site data. The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
If you choose to email giggletwigvape@gmail.com — for example about a product, compatibility, or a concern — we will receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we will use it only to respond to and handle your enquiry. That email is handled through Google's Gmail service and is subject to Google's terms and privacy practices. Please do not send identity documents, medical information, or payment details by email.
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process limited technical information (such as your IP address and request details) to deliver the Site and keep it secure. This is standard infrastructure processing and is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy practices.
The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches these fonts, Google may receive your IP address and request information as part of serving them. No other Google services are embedded.
The Site does not currently run third-party analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking. If this changes, this policy will be updated to describe what is used and why.
The Site is strictly for adults 21 and older and is not intended for, or directed at, children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, you have rights in relation to personal information about you, including to ask what we hold, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Because the Site collects so little, in most cases we simply will not hold personal information about you. If you have emailed us and want your message and email address removed, contact us and we will action it.
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information involved, but no website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and the "last updated" date will reflect the most recent version.
